That's one of the better designs I've seen for hidden bookshelf doors. You don't want a rolling caster like that last set we saw, since they leave a tell-tale track on the floor over time. (See the swinging door at Smaland for an example.) This system seems to use a bifold design with a steel track for the hardware, like a folding closet door. Another system I've seen uses a heavy steel rod to swing the shelves away from the wall like a fence gate, though I wonder about sagging, as is also a problem with fence gates.

I wish we had a secret room like that. :)

But a lot of the other designs range from pretty silly to utterly useless.

Yes, a lot of them are more art-object than bookcase. But that can be fun, here and there.
