Entwined, ROBO-homa! - MN Fringe

My friend Amy Salloway puffpastry has been rewriting and worrying about her Fringe show Entwined in the past few days (and still is, I'm sure, its totally a work in progress). She is way to hard on herself about it. I suppose that part of being a good actor and writer is being hard on yourself.

However, the Fringe Festival is FULL of stuff that doesn't quite work. And "Entwined" as we saw it opening night tonight, as an unfinished piece, with the actors reading from scripts, is still awesome. It is better than some shows that think they are finished products. And, Amy being who she is, its only going to get better every show as she works on it. Go check it out.

We also spontaneously went and saw ROBO-homa!, since we got to Rarig way early for Entwined. It was fun - post-apocalyptic robots with a partial script for the musical Oklahoma trying to use it to recreate human society.

It sounds like there are many interesting shows going on at The Fringe Festival. :)

I saw Entwined and thought it was a pretty good story for something so supposedly rough around the edges.
