We found wedding rings today at Just Silver at MOA! They are matching silver celtic knotwork bands and cost less than $40 for both. We probably won't be wearing them much, as we're not much onto rings, but still we're happy to find them. The real symbol of marriage will be the tattooed wristbands we'll get later on, more on this later.

We also found other important wedding odds and ends (such as a necktie for phoenixredux and a bra for me) and came up with the idea of having an origami cake topper of a phoenix and a dragon (That will be the motif of our tattoos, too, though not origami, of course).

Hmm, where's that crazy guy on the bus when you need him? I met a guy on the bus once who made me an exquisite origami spider. (He also gave me the plans to his crackpot schemes to build impossible devices, hence, crazy guy on the bus). No, I think I can figure out the origami, though if you're good at it and want to help let me know!

And, unrelated to anything, look! An 8 million year old cypress forest (ok, more like stumps) was found intact under coal mine in Hungary!
